Map showing Land Use Land Cover (LULC) of EKH District. LULC is an important component in understanding the interactions of human activities with the environment. The LULC maps of the districts are being prepared by GIS Team, MBDA with the focus on planning catchment area afforestation.
INRM represented Meghalaya at the Session on UNESCO World Heritage Sites in North-Eastern India at Tezpur, Assam, organized by the Wildlife Institute of India on the 14th of May 2016.
